To provide strategic leadership direction to the Orapharma Sales organization and develop selling strategies that will enable this organization to drive revenue and earnings. The Regional Sales Director will have be responsibility for the direct oversight of Regional Managers and approximately half of the sales force.  

 

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for the implementation of sales and marketing activity within the U.S.; including hiring, training and development, evaluation, compensation, account targeting and coverage, and effective deployment of both human and financial resources. The Director needs to have a sound business understanding to be able to develop action plans, effectively use operating budgets, analyze region business trends to identify opportunities and challenges in the marketplace and to make decisions that will support the overall sales and profit objectives.

 

The Regional Sales Director will play a key role in the development, implementation and execution of national strategies in conjunction with marketing. Effective collaboration with cross functional teams is essential.

Primary role of this position is to be the Category Advisor for Eye Care, and provide category support for the ocular nutritional categories at Walmart. The Walmart Category Manager is responsible for uncovering business opportunities that will drive topline volume, generate additional revenue, and improve the customer P&L. This position leads the Walmart modular relay process by providing recommendations on assortment, distribution, and placement. The position prepares and presents presentations to the retailer on topics including category reviews, category strategy, promotional effectiveness, pricing and ad hoc analysis that helps identify opportunities and drive topline sales. The Category Manager identifies insights, and trends and makes recommendations that will provide overall category growth as well as maximizes profitable sales volume and increased brand penetration.

This position reports to the SVP of Diversified Portfolio for Valeant US division.  The responsibilities of this position include developing and maintaining business relationships in the generic and mature brand market place for the purpose of identifying revenue generating pipeline development opportunities.    The Senior Director of Pipeline Development will work with external companies to find opportunities to develop new products (ANDAs or NDAs) or work internally within Valeant to do the same.   This person will be able to formulate and generate ideas either independently or with working with their contacts to create ideas. This person will be able to formulate pipeline ideas as well as evaluate the opportunities from a commercial perspective and financial perspective. The candidate will need to lead the idea generation process and bring many ideas to the table. The candidate must thrive in a team environment and be adaptive to change and will need to work effectively across many different teams within Valeant and perhaps external teams.  The successful candidate will have a successful track record of pipeline recommendations.   The position will be based in the Bridgewater NJ office.
