Valeant Pharmaceuticals is looking for a consistent and driven high performer with proven selling skills to join its fast growing sales organization. The District Sales Manager is responsible for meeting the sales goals and objectives assigned to the District and for the development of District personnel.
1. BA/BS degree required
2. Proven ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers.
3. At least 3 (three) years of successful field sales experience or equivalent.
4. At least 2 (two) years of supervisory/training experience preferred.
The District Manager position requires a great deal of enthusiasm, energy, and the ability to work in the field with representatives as needed while maintaining all administrative functions. This highly operational position requires systematic planning and organization skills. Extensive overnight travel may be required, typically around 50% of the time. Ability to lift up to 30lbs. Must possess a valid state drivers’ license.
