Overview

Group Leader IV, MFG

 

Ensure receipt, shipment and distribution of materials, tools, equipment and product within the warehouse are proficiently and efficiently performed. Operate a sit down or high lift forklift. Ensure integrity of Erplx system and other documentation as required. This position requires Forklift certification. Assume responsibility for the GMP, environmental health and safety procedure awareness and compliance within the respective area.

Responsibilities

  1. Proficiently perform warehousing, distribution and receiving functions as needed to support the day to day operation of the warehouse.
  2. Provide supervision and work direction to all warehouse associates.
  3. Ensure warehouse procedures are adhered to and remain current.
  4. Perform necessary training and monitor skill development of warehouse associates.
  5. Track attendance of department associates; report results to manager.
  6. 6 hours of GMP training per year; support EHS initiatives.
  7. Actively monitor and manage DOT/RCRA hazardous, Universal, Biomedical, Electronic, Recycling, and Municipal waste streams.
  8. Perform routine waste activities including but not limited to; inspections, collection, consolidation, and preparation for shipment.
  9. Perform basic waste characterization.
  10. Oversees receiving area to insure that all materials are received in acceptable condition, are reviewed by IQI in a timely manner and goods are put away quickly (in racks) to keep the area clean and organized.
  11. Responsible for FDOH documentation compliance for both Shipping and Receiving. Ensures that returns and reviews are documented and discarded in a timely manner to insure that Sales is provided with appropriate returns data and the end of each month. Avoid company penalties with the FDOH.
  12. All other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications

High School Diploma Required 

 

Computer skills, knowledge of Erplx. Quality conscious, detail oriented. Ability to safely operate fork lifts (counterbalance and high lifts). Good documentation and communication skills are necessary.

Respirator Training

 

5 – 7 years controlled warehouse, pharmaceutical or related industry experience. Supervisory experience.
