Overview

Maintenance Associate III, Facilities, 2nd Shift

 

Perform facility repairs and maintain facility equipment while performing mechanical and electrical repairs; process work orders.

Responsibilities

Responsible for:

  • Responsible for maintaining facility equipment by performing trouble shooting, preventative maintenance, and routine repairs with minimal down time.  This includes the plant shutdowns facility maintenance.  Installation, modification, set up and/or qualification of any new or relocated facility equipment. Generate documentation in accordance with GMP’s, FDA, ISO & division guidelines.
  • Routine facility work such as patching walls, painting, caulking, replacing ceiling tiles.
  • Prepping various types of walls, equipment, surfaces, to remove dirt, rust, etc.
  • Piping, plumbing repairs, etc.
  • Replacing PVC curtains in clean areas.
  • Assist Facility associate with ASI and clean room doors repairs as needed.
  • Electrical work including replacing, ballasts, light fixtures, and light sensors. This is a compliance and safety requirement, the areas need to be suitability lit in order to be able to read product labels, allow employees to travel safely from one environment to another.
  • All other facility related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5 years' experience in facility maintenance
  • Position requires Aseptic Gowning Certification.
  • Forklift Certification may be required.
  • Logical approach to troubleshooting and repair of facilities.
  • Good organizational skills, able to work quickly and under pressure.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented and quality conscious.
  • Must be capable of working the aseptic environment.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office, Word.
  • Mechanics tools.
