    Brand Manager, Marketing at Bausch + Lomb Consumer Healthcare (a division of Valeant Pharmaceuticals International)

    The Brand Manager, Marketing for the Bausch + Lomb Consumer Healthcare division will drive brand-specific initiatives for one of the flagship, fast-growing Bausch + Lomb brands in the US.  This position will be located in Bridgewater, NJ.



    • Develops insight-driven and impactful strategic and tactical branding-building and marketing plans.
    • Effectively implements plans/tactics and evaluates the success against pre-determined metrics.
    • Key support areas may include: consumer advertising and engagement (TV, print, digital & social media), consumer promotion, shopper marketing and trade promotion, e-commerce support, healthcare professional marketing and forecasting activities.
    • Builds and strengthens key opinion leader (healthcare professionals) relationships.
    • Develops, owns and manages the budget for key marketing activities. Understands how profitability is achieved for the brand. 
    • Brings innovation to marketing plans and product portfolio and generates a fact-based business case to support new ideas.
    • Works directly with R&D and Operations to qualify and launch new product initiatives to enhance product appeal to practitioners and consumers.
    • Manages relationships with key vendors, agencies and cross-functional partners. Develops an understanding of the dynamics of the matrix and the role of all partners.



    • BS degree in marketing or a related discipline required, MBA preferred. • 3-5+ years of experience within US OTC and/or CPG marketing organization. Healthcare professional marketing experience a plus but not mandatory. • Demonstrates a fundamental understanding of basic marketing skills, including 4P’s • Must have demonstrated analytical skills with ability to review consumer data, identify trends and present information to senior managers. Experience with IRI/ACNielsen data preferred. • Good analytical, interpersonal, people management, and influencing skills. • Strong social / digital media acumen • Must have basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint). • Demonstrates sound business judgment and financial acumen.
