To provide leadership in the packaging area for all personnel to ensure that quality products are manufactured to meet the production plan. Place customer service and accountability to the customer as the constant goal. Coordinate closely with other departments on operational and planning issues related to meeting the production plans and company goals. Assume responsibility for the GMP, environmental health and safety procedure awareness and compliance within the respective area.


  • Supervise, develop, provide feedback and coach employees. Complete performance reviews in a quarterly basis.  Performs and         help employees with ADP transactions and eTime for approximately             20 to 40 employees.
  • Review weekly production schedule and work with the Planning department on capacity and scheduling issues. Coordinate activities         to support the production schedule. Participate in process related             issues using thorough technical process knowledge to make timely decisions in order to ensure that OEE and other business goals are      achieved
  • Perform manufacturing investigations and write reports as required. Utilize programs such as CATSWeb, Compliance Wire, Kintana,        and D2.
  • Review, approve, write and revise SOP's, filling and packaging batch records and other documentation.
  • Participate on OpEx teams and attend training sessions as required. Train/re-train department personnel on safety, cGMPs and SOPs as      needed.  Support Operational Excellence and EHS&S initiatives.             Work with Tech Services, R&D and Contract Manufacturing on the           transfer of new products & engineering studies.
  • Asset and supply management. Generate required WOs, POs and CERs.  Operate department within budget guidelines.  Review     standards annually for necessary revisions.  Oversight and execute  transactions in the inventory management system (ERPLx).
  • This position requires certification processes in processes such as completion of Line Clearance Certification, Inventory Management            System, LOTO Certification,  and Aseptic Gowning  Certification.
  • Serve as a backup for the Filling Team Leader.
  • Provide coverage for overtime as needed.
  • Serve as a role model for Company Core Values



HS Diploma required.  Associates degree preferred
