Responsible for the sourcing and procurement activities for U.S. Commercial categories including but not limited to marketing, advertising, and promotional.


  • Responsible for coordinating sourcing and procurement activities for Commercial categories including but not limited to marketing, advertising, and promotional. Collaborate with stakeholders on effectively managing agencies and service providers to ensure high level of performance and strong customer service.
  • Responsible for delivering cost savings through competitive bidding process and effective negotiation of agency and service agreements. Manage all costs and ensure contract compliance. 
  • Responsible for performing all aspects of sourcing and procurement activities in support of major initiatives including stakeholder requirement analysis, identification of bidders list, RFP/RFQ development, conducting competitive bid events, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to create thorough business requirements and develop strong sourcing strategies. Persuade internal clients to engage Procurement as a strategic versus tactical partner while communicating Procurement value. Maintain high level of communication across the organization.
  • This position may support other indirect categories outside of Commercial as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree with related experience required. MS/MBA/CPM/CPIM a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years procurement/sourcing experience, preferably within a multi-plant or multi-divisional business. 
  • Experience in the sourcing of commercial categories (marketing, advertising, and promotional) preferred. 
  • Proven experience in RFI/RFP/RFQ development, evaluation, negotiations, execution, and contract management. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing procurement strategies which comprehend and contribute to overall business objectives is a must. 
  • Candidate must have applied experience in the understanding of legal issues, contractual principles, and negotiation techniques used in the development of complex contractual agreements.  In addition, the candidate must have the ability to actively participate on regional multi-functional teams, a proven capability in workload management, exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal skills, problem solving skills, and significant experience with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with MRP and e-procurement tools a plus.
