  • Overview

    The Senior Business Sys Analyst is an important role of the PeopleSoft FSCM functional team. S/he acts as a liaison between IT and SMEs cross all business areas to implement projects and deliver operational changes to streamline business processes. This role regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards within the order management area.


    • Production Support, including analysis of online data and PeopleSoft records and Order Management configuration
    • Development of functional design specifications (KCRS) and coordinating development and testing between Process Owners and technical resources.
    • Assist the business in the development of test plans and test cases, and support them in their execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
    • Design, coordination and promotion of relevant batch jobs and scheduling.
    • Provide one-on-one support to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as required.
    • Conduct Training and development/improvement of Training Materials.
    • Development of new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as maintenance of existing ones.
    • Production Change Management - proposing the most cost-effective way to address issues, searching for non-customized ways (some system, many process) to address issues. Also includes prioritization of KCR requests.
    • Participate in internal and external audits and own the remediation to deliver it on timely to comply with SOX/GXP standards.
    • Will need to participate global ERP implementation potentially


    • 7-10 years’ Strong functional knowledge and experience in PeopleSoft FSCM 8.4 or higher.
    • Knowledge in other ERP systems, such as, SAP is a plus
    • Exemplified knowledge in understanding of business requirements, processes and implementation approaches related to PeopleSoft
    • Proven experience in requirement gathering, fit/gap analysis, documenting design, test planning and execution, training strategy, and planning.
    • Minimum 5 years Pharmaceutical industry experience
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Proven problem solving and decision-making skills for complex problems
    • Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and attention to detail
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment with general direction
    • Self-starter; ability to drive changes to promote functional productivity and efficiency.

    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
    • Willing to learn new technology as required
    • Skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
