In October 2007, the CEO Roundtable on Cancer, a nonprofit organization founded in 2001 by former President George H.W. Bush, awarded Valeant Pharmaceuticals International the prestigious CEO Cancer Gold Standard. The CEO Cancer Gold Standard, developed in collaboration with the American Cancer Society, represents Valeant's continued commitment to the healthy lives of its valued employees, and their families.
